Caroline Morgan was born in 1969 and began
a full-time sculpting career at the age of 16
when she attended the Sir Henry Doulton School
of Sculpture, sponsored by the pottery company
Royal Doulton and the sculptor Dame Elisabeth
Frink RA.
She then went on to gain a degree in Fine Art
at Norwich Art College, after which she worked
for 4 years in the special effects industry
as a sculptor, working on many commercials,
television programmes and films. In 1995 she
was selected by Creative Review magazine as
a creative future in the model making industry.
In 1996 Caroline was appointed to lead a team
of sculptors working in the toy industry. She
worked in this capacity for six years, leading
the team that sculpted merchandise for Star
Wars, The Teletubbies, The Tweenies, Harry Potter,
The Simpsons and many more.
Caroline is now working on Sculpture for the
Sydney Charles Studio based in London. Her work
is influenced by form and motion and her Sculpture
seek to capture the movement and emotion of
a moment in time. |
